Understand. Explore. Manage. Grow.
Did something happen to you that you can’t forget?
Is it difficult, or even impossible, to talk about?
Do you feel like you are too much, or your stories are too much, for others to bear?
Are you expected to just ‘get on with it’ or feel like you should?
Do you struggle with shame, rage, panic, feeling numb, or constantly beating yourself up?
Are you re-experiencing events through flashbacks, nightmares or intrusive images and thoughts?
You don’t have to deal with this alone.
This is a place where every story, every emotion, and every part of you, is welcome.
Sessions are client led. We will work at your pace and with anything you wish to talk about. We can work face to face (indoors or outdoors in the West Penwith area), online or on the telephone.
You can tell as much or as little of your story as you want. We can process how it impacted you, without any details, should this approach feel right for you.
Offering compassionate, trauma-informed and person-centred counselling to individuals who have experienced:
· A distressing event that has left a lasting impact
· Repeated and prolonged trauma, such as childhood abuse or regular distressing experiences at work
· Symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or complex trauma
· States of dissociation, derealisation and depersonalisation
· Self-criticism and hyper-vigilance
Working in partnership with you to understand, explore, manage and grow.
We can do this. Together.
