2. Arrange a free 30 minute introductory phone call or video call. We will discuss what you hope to gain from your counselling and make an initial assessment of your needs. I will also go over our counsellor-client agreement and answer any questions you might have.
If you are an orgnisation calling to arrange support for employees, we can arrange initial face to face consultations with your member/s.
3. If you would like to go ahead with booking sessions, we can arrange your first appoointment.
Sessions last 1 hour and usually take place weekly.
They can be held face to face in Heamoor and sometimes Penzance. These will be in rooms but could be arranged outdoors if you would like this option.
I can travel to 'blue light' organisations around south Cornwall to offer sessions to employees on site, should this be appropriate for your needs.
I am also happy to arrange sessions using online video call or telephone calls.
Discounted rates are available for:
· Blue light / emergency service workers including RNLI volunteers
· Members or former members of the armed forces
· Trainee counsellors (sorry, trainees must be from training providers other than Camborne Counselling Institute to avoid any conflict of interest)
Everything discussed in counselling is kept strictly confidential unless there are safeguarding concerns for yourself or others. I adhere to the BACP ethical framework which can be found here: https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ethical-framework-for-the-counselling-professions/
For those who would like to spend longer in an outdoor therapeutic environment, I offer guided walks through some of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall, combined with a morning or afternoon of counselling. These run on Sundays on an ad hoc / one-off basis, and can be arranged upon request.
Intensive counselling packages can be arranged should this be appropriate for your needs, please enquire to discuss this option further
